Cheap pubs in Zurich.

Is there such a thing ?
The rolling circus has done 5 shows in 4 countries and we have a night off tonight.
Beer prices are pretty steep so anyone know a cheap one.
Googled the blue oyster bar , the SPLAT arms and the splatting sun.

If you are a bit of an old punk the clash bar is a good night out , as is a bar I can’t recall the name of but it’s next to a famous burger bar called Burgermeister.

Pop, the Wild At Heart on Wiener Strasse (snigger) is a great music bar loads of good eateries around there as well including the wonderfully named Restaurant Bastard, also the Ramones museum and bar just over the Spree from the Wall museum is also worth a look

Probably a bit late but Kennedys is decent I used to watch the West Ham games there. £7+ a pint but good choice of beer, it’s getting on for £6 in some pubs in Stratford now.

Austrian bloke I knew reckoned living in Austria and working in Switzerland was the optimal solution to maximising income and minimising outgoings

Pop, if you like 'eclectic', Kumplenest (http://www.kumpelnest3000.com/) is a great bar if you don't mind the odd tranny.
Very friendly and sociable place and if you don't like it there's a lap dance place right across the road. It's fairly cheap, too. The bar, not the lap dance joint.
